报告简介  Abstract

如何利用少量的数据快速学习一个新任务是机器学习的重要问题。原则上来说，可以通过利用学习相关任务的经验来实现。元学习（Meta-Learning）研究如何利用已有任务的数据来学习如何建模或更新参数，使得学到的模型或参数可以利用少量数据在新任务上达到好的表现。Meta-SGD是一个简单有效的基于梯度的元学习方法。本次报告将介绍基于梯度的元学习及其相关理论的发展，然后讨论Meta-SGD在实际业务场景中的应用。

嘉宾简介  About the Speaker

Chuanlong XIE(谢传龙) ，2017年在香港浸会大学数学系获得博士学位，2017-2019年在暨南大学统计系工作，2019年加入香港华为诺亚实验室。主要研究方向是元学习，充分降维，模型检验等。
