报告简介  Abstract

如何利用少量的数据快速学习一个新任务是机器学习的重要问题。原则上来说,可以通过利用学习相关任务的经验来实现。元学习(Meta-Learning)研究如何利用已有任务的数据来学习如何建模或更新参数,使得学到的模型或参数可以利用少量数据在新任务上达到好的表现。Meta-SGD是一个简单有效的基于梯度的元学习方法。本次报告将介绍基于梯度的元学习及其相关理论的发展,然后讨论Meta-SGD在实际业务场景中的应用。


嘉宾简介  About the Speaker

Chuanlong XIE(谢传龙) ,2017年在香港浸会大学数学系获得博士学位,2017-2019年在暨南大学统计系工作,2019年加入香港华为诺亚实验室。主要研究方向是元学习,充分降维,模型检验等。


The Noah’s Ark Lab is the AI research center for Huawei Technologies, located in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, London, Paris, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, etc. The mission of the lab is to make significant contributions to both the company and society by innovating in artificial intelligence, data mining and related fields.
