Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss some methodological challenges in analysing complex data in medical and health research, such as large-scale cohort study data, administrative data, electronic medical/health record data etc. Methodological issues including missing data, causal inference, selection bias, data linkage challenge, data quality, risk prediction will be discussed. I will also briefly discuss the data difference between China and UK.
